Tell your story through movement.

Our bodies hold our stories — our thoughts, feelings, experiences and memories. It is through movement that we can express ourselves fully when our words cannot.
Dance/movement therapy.
The roots of dance as a healing practice are found deep within many cultures and have been throughout time. Dance/movement therapy, a relatively new healing practice is based on the idea that the mind, body and spirit are connected.
Dance/movement therapy unearths all types of movements held within the body in order to integrate the many layers of ourselves, impacting our mental health for ultimate well-being and living to our greatest potential.
The American Dance Therapy Association defines dance/movement therapy as the psychotherapeutic use of movement and dance to support intellectual, emotional, and motor functions of the body. As a modality of the creative arts therapies, dance/movement therapy looks at the correlation between movement and emotion. For more information, please visit www.adta.org.
